July 2006 - From the top of the castle at Pigeon Island / Guvercin Adasi you can see the whole of Kusadasi bay. The cruise ships are literally the size of a small town.The island is connected to the mainland by a manmade link where you can also pick up boat trips around the area, and swim in the harbour which is fabulous. I loved it til I got freaked about a cut on my foot / sharks / random aquatic bloodlusting dinosaurs and got back up that ladder quicker than a window cleaner in a snakepit.
